As I sit here at 4:30 in the morning, trying to get my wits about me. I cant help thinking about the things to come. Last night I had to take actual sleep meds on top of my Rested AF. The fireworks on New Years eve gets old fast when you are a super light sleeper.
I woke up today at 208.0 and 15.1% body fat according to my hand held device. My weight has fluctuated a lot this last month in working with a coach. Eating so much food is putting size on me. Continuing my fasted cardio every morning is keeping the fat off. Well keeping it from coming back fast. I continued my cardio everyday this last week. More so because I enjoy doing it over anything else. My coach has told me several times not to do it anymore. I am contemplating dropping him. Sucks because its paid for already. But at the same time I want to start dropping weight again. I want to get to the point this year that I am lean year round. I also want to grow at the same time which takes food and right now it’s about finding that perfect balance that allows me to burn fat while feeding the body enough to grow.
Currently I am eating between 6-8 meals a day. Usually 8. I’ve been snacking a lot here and there too. The fact that I am not both heavier and fatter right now is amazing to me. Especially because of the snacking.
Everyone is on the New Year’s kick right now. The gyms are about to be packed with people who kinda want to be healthier, but not enough that they will stick with it. So we should send that end of the month drop off from the gyms. Because this month has been so relaxed with my eating it’s time to buckle down and get militant with the meal prep again. I need to sit down and figure out where my macros need to be, what/when with my refeeds or if I’m going to even have any over the next few months.
April makes one year at this. I want to be able to compare photos from now and then and actually impress myself with progress. I also look forward to comparing the 1 year photos.
My video blogs are going to continue this year. I am going to try to get a little more artistic with them, voice overs and what not. Well it’s time for cardio. Happy new year everyone.
